Hey Wild in Scotland Team!

We’re just emailing to say massive THANK YOU for taking us on the Skye tour! It was  our first time on the island and we were so lucky with the weather so we got to do lots of walking and nearly braved a quick swim in a pool. The boat trip with Neil was such a highlight!  We managed to make some dolphin friends along the way which was amazing!  Almost as good as the scallops on board. We absolutely loved the trip,  especially Danny with his elaborate tales and Gordon with his slightly scary sword collection.

Thank you so much again!

Kindest Regards,

Jenni,  Morna and Vanessa

Wild in Scotland Tour 12th May 2009

Submitted by: Brad Schumacher

Hello,
My wife and I recently went on your 6 day Hebridean tour May 12. We just wanted to inform your company that we thought it was a great trip. It was everything we expected and more. We feel we need to make it known that our guide Danny did a superb job. Danny is an excellent orator. The speeches he made at Bannockburn and Culloden were very stirring and filled with passion. They made us feel like we were really there. I would recommend this trip to anyone who likes an active and informative tour. I would also recommend Danny as a guide it was a privilege to travel with him.

Take care
Brad Schumacher & Alison Muir

4 day Highlands and Isle of Skye tour - 08/09/09

Dear Wild In Scotland,

I went on your 4 day “Highland and Isle of Skye tour”  last week and just wanted to tell you how much of a fantastic time I had.

Your tour was fantastic, and I’ve been on a few similar tours in different countries. The fact that you can go off the beaten track and explore different areas on foot provides you with such a vastly different kind of trip. You don’t get that with many other tours. I went on a one day tour with another tour company after coming back from your tour, and was so disappointed in how crap it was compared to yours. Other companies have very high standards to meet if they want to even scratch the surface compared to the tours that you provide.

The accommodation was also great, and the views you get when you wake up and look out of the window is great. You don’t get that everyday, and  I think it has inspired some of us to want to be able to live like that.

I would love to say that the tour guide Colin was the one who made the trip the most memorable.  He was a really good tour guide, he really knew what he was talking about and made the history much more understandable through his story telling  and was loads of fun! Most of all to me,  he really encourage me and helped me along throughout the tour. I fell over one day  cut my knee and was rather shaken up  and unsteady on my feet. He pulled me through and helped me with the tough areas. He really encouraged me and had someone not done that  I don’t know how much of the walks I would have done (this would have spoilt my trip).  He stayed back and helped me through the tough bits  when I  really wasn’t sure if  I would get there or not. Being on the tour was difficult for me as I was on a special clinically supervised diet;  i.e not eating conventional food  but foodpacks.  It was hard being around others who were eating all the time. Colin was impressed at my courage and determination to carry on and I really appreciated the encouragement he gave me.

When I’ve lost all the weight I need to (there’s a long way to go),  I’ll  be back for a longer tour with you,  and Colin won’t recognise me!

I had one of the best holidays with you  and believe me when I say I am beaming with confidence and cant stop going on about my holiday.

Thanks

Louise Simm

Hi all!

I just wanted to say a huge Thank you to everyone at Wild in Scotland! My cousin Nathan and i travelled on a 3 day tour around this time last year and we are still talking about it today!

Simon had amazing knowledge of the Country and its History which we both loved and appreciated, we learnt more than we ever hoped to on such a short journey. We have memories from the trip that will last forever!

We recommend your tours to everyone we know heading to Scotland because we know you will provide them with as great an experience as we had.

Thanks again!

Lauren Fitzgerald.

5 Day Orkney Islands

Hi,

I am writing to thank you for the amazing 5 day tour around Scotland and Orkney, from 23rd to 27 May. Our tour guide James was fantastic, incredibly well informed on the history of Scotland, and also a great story teller. He was friendly and professional, well organised and really made the tour one of the best trips that I have ever been on. Give the man a pay-rise as he is brilliant.

I will definitely be recommending your tours to my friends.

Thanks again,

Ngaire Wallace

Tour taken in April

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to drop you a quick line now that I am finally back from my travels,  and let you know what a brilliant time I had on the three day tour at the end of April. I have to let you know the tour exceeded all my expectations, having flexibility, our wonderfully informative and friendly driver/tour guide Bruce, and a great sized group (not to mention brilliant locations and scenery the whole trip). The accommodation was great and I have to say better than the hotels I stayed in when I stayed in Edinburgh which I paid a lot more for.

I just wanted to let you guys know what a brilliant job you are doing and I thank you for making my trip to Scotland a great highlight of my trip. It is a great joy to be able to come away from a tour and to have only good things to say and great memories.

Also thanks to Gordon and Charlie for their hospitality at the hostel, they both certainly made the trip that bit more special.

Thanks again

Kind Regards

Sarah Jenkins

To the Wild in Scotland tour group:

i would just like to personally thankyou for the amazing 4 day tour from the 15th to the 19th of June with Danny as the guide. Danny is a fantastic character who is full of energy, enthusiasm and led the tour group really well. I will be recommending him to all of our mates from Australia and Britain who are thinking of going to Scotland. I truly believe that the tour wouldn’t have been the same without him as the guide. We couldn’t stop laughing the whole tour which made it so easy to interact with other people and made the group a lot closer. The history of Scotland was mesmerising and i would now like to study further into it.
Thanks again for everything.

Tom Witham
