I was only in beautiful Scotland for a month studying abroad and I was a little nervous at first about taking this tour and how difficult the hiking would be. This turned out to be the highlight of my entire trip! Matt was fantastic and knowledgeable and entertaining. The hostel was clean and cozy and more comfy than my dorm room! I was in a group with 15 fantastic ppl and my only regret was that I couldn’t stay longer and take every tour you offer! Keep doing what you do, knowing that I told Stirling University that they should continue to recommend you highly!

I had an amazing time on my 3 Day Skye and Highlands Tour. The tour guide was very energetic which made me feel more energized throughout the day. I felt like everyday had so much to do but I never felt rushed. The hostel was a unique and inviting experience. The people there were very welcoming. Some friends of mine took a 1 day tour, different company, into some of the same places on this tour.  After talking with them they said they hadn’t heard half of what I had. They wished they had opted for this tour. I wish I was in Scotland longer so I could take another tour!

We are a group of five people from York. We are very happy in Scotland. Jamie is our guide. He is very good. I am really like the food prepared by other visitors and our guide. We also have tasted the fantanstic seafood and enjoyed a beautiful secenery on the sea.There is only one problem with this tour. I can not understand all the story told by our guide because of my poor English. That is a pity. To sum up I love this tour and cherish all the friendship with other friends we made.

Hi Guys,

We did your tour back in Nov 2010 and luckily we managed to get in the weekend before the snow stopped everyone in the UK from not being able to go anywhere!

We had a fantastic time. Bruce was our tour guide and his knowledge and stories were awesome. We looked forward to the bus stopping so that we could hear one of his tales, the Old Man of Storr being my favourite.

The Stromeferry guest house is amazing also, so warm and inviting, almost didn’t want to go to bed at night because the company was so good. There is also nothing better than getting up in the morning and taking my cup of coffee out to do some dolphin spotting on the loch.

Skye is one of the most beautiful places that I have been in the world and I want to go back. I would love to come for one of your Hogmanay tours! I also can’t wait to come back and do one of your island hopper tours.

I have highly recommended you to anyone and everyone who asks me! This was definitely one of our highlights of our visit to the UK.

Thanks guys for such an awesome time – it was definitely worth the price and more!

The girls and I took this trip as a celebration for my birthday… and are so glad we did! Everything was perfect, including how lucky we were with the weather. Jamie was fantastic and definately knew his stuff. The hostel in Stromeferry was amazing, definately well above hostel standards and Gordon was such a treasure. Food/ bus/ value for money all far exceeded our expectations.
I’ll definately be recommending this tour to others!

GOING TO SCOTLAND AND BOOCKING WITH YOU GUYS IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST IDEAS I EVER HAD. I TOLD MY FRIENDS HERE IN SPAIN ABOUT THE GREAT TIME I HAD IN SCOTLAND .

We just come back from Edinburgh we did the tour from 13 to 15 August with the amazing Kath! We love her, she took us to many beautiful places and she is perfect organized with all the stops and the time aviable. She is also well prepared about history, tales and all about Scotland. We didn’t meet a guide but a friend! We miss her and we plan to do another tour with Wild in Scotland in the future! We recomend this tour to everybody!

My sister Julia, our friend Marie and I had been on the 3 day Skye and Highlands tour recently and it was just a wonderful experience! From the first day on we felt very comfortable in the group and we had a lot of fun with all the people from all around the world. After the first day it seems like you already had known all those people for a long time. We were very lucky with the weather and the landscape was just stunning. Our tour guide Kath was great, we could not get enough of her stories! It was very interesting to get to know the history of Scotland and actually to be at the places were all this happenend. We visited so many beautiful places, but nevertheless the Fairy Glens was my favourite place and I wish I could go back up there! The hostel at Stromeferry was also just a great and cosy place at the Loch. Great view and thanks again to Hillary for cooking – it was delicious! I loved going around by bus, listening to traditional Scottish music and on the last day I wished the tour would last longer. Thanks again to Kath, greatest guide of all, and all who had been on this tour – it was an awesome time! I’ll never forget it and I strongly recommend the tour – it was just great! So maybe we’ll come back one day – looking forward to that! Thank you for this experience, Scotland and this tour is great!!!

Hi There;

I have been visiting Scotland for over 10 years and up until last week I had never made it further than Stirling.

I booked my tour for myself and a friend a couple of months in advance which gave me plenty of time to ponder what horrors could await me – dull tour guides, large dorms full of snoring, farting folk, torrential rain and getting stuck up various hills.

However, the tour exceeded my expectations in every way. All 3 days were fantastic. I learned a lot but it didn’t feel like I was being lectured. Information was delivered with emotion and enthusiasm and was well received by all.

The group was very mixed (ages and nationalities) but we all got on really well without any traumas. The hostel was situated in a beautiful location with small rooms and everything you could think of to hand.

Of course there was one thing (or should I say person) that really made the tour…Danny, what a character. His storytelling ability was second to none and his enthusiasm for all things Scottish was highly contagious.

The only one criticism that I have would be he needs to slow down or take a holiday. Sometimes I was exhausted just watching him!

All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable trip. I would not hesitate to recommend “Wild in Scotland” to my friends and family and who knows, I may book another tour for next summer!!!

The 3 day tour was the highlight of our UK trip. We all really enjoyed the trip and look forward to do it again. Kath you were excellent with your stories and history and fiction….. and your driving was perfect.

The accomdation at Saucy Mary’s was reasonable and the food also.
